AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has opened up on her true feelings about her family amid their estranged relationship. The singer has declared that she misses and loves her "beautiful" family despite "issues" between them.
On Wednesday, May 15, the 42-year-old shared a photo of her mother Lynne Spears alongside her sister Jamie Lynn Spears' daughters. Joined by an elderly woman, they sat together in a small table for meal, but neither Britney nor her her sister was featured in it.
In the caption, the "Me Against the Music" songstress admitted, "We all have issues with our family but dear God you can't help how much you love them." She penned, "I'm not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am. On a side note ... If you know me, I've always ended up at this kids table at every function I've ever been to !!! The most elite expensive dinners and I always find myself just like this sitting in the back with the kids !!!"
"Anyways ... I'm posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them," the pop star, who is a mother to two sons, continued explaining. "So not to sound righteous but in a world of chaos and confusion the trickery of the devil is to mislead you and humiliate you … and make you think you're less than !!! I wanted to share this pic because although I'm not in it ... I sure as hell felt as though I was !!! Pssss swipe to see !!!"
Britney shared the post following her Chateau Marmont incident, during which she allegedly got involved in an altercation with her boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz. She injured her foot in the May 1 disturbance.
Denying that she had a mental breakdown as people feared, Britney wrote on Instagram, "Just to let people know … the news is fake !!! Not sure why I feel the need to share this ... I guess I'm just a girl and I'm on my period so I'm b***hy." She complained, "Paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I'm moving to Boston !!! Peace."
She then blamed her mother for the incident, accusing Lynne of setting her up. "I know my mom was involved !!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!!" she wrote in the caption of another post. "I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can't stand her !!! I honestly don't care I will say it !!!"
Meanwhile, Britney recently shaded her sister in her Stories uploaded in late April. "My sister did on a TV show and they bathed her in the jungle," the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer said of Jamie while referencing Jamie's stint on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!", calling her "little s**t" and a "little b***h." She then added, "I wanna be a little b***h and get a bath in the jungle like my sis."
