Candace Cameron Bure shares a chilling near-death experience on set of her Netflix show 'Fuller House' when she was rehearsing an 'American Ninja Warrior'-like stunt.

AceShowbiz - In a recent podcast appearance, "Fuller House" star Candace Cameron Bure revealed a terrifying near-death experience she faced while filming the Netflix series. During a rehearsal for an "American Ninja Warrior"-like stunt, a zipline malfunction caused a metal mechanism to slide off the track and narrowly miss her head.

According to Bure, the safety stop on the zipline was not set up correctly, leading to the accident. She stated that if she had shifted her weight differently, it could have resulted in a fatal injury. The stunt guy was immediately fired and the stunt was called off.

"The whole mechanism - which is all metal and very, very heavy - slid right off the track and came right next to my head with an inch," she recalled. "If I just even shifted my weight the tiniest bit, it would have probably broken my neck, like landed right on top of my head."

"It dented the floor," co-star Andrea Barber echoed the life-threatening potential.

Since "Fuller House" ended, Bure has dedicated herself to creating family-friendly, faith-based films. She believes there is a significant demand for content that avoids LGBTQ story lines and emphasizes traditional marriage.

"I think we want to create an oasis in a cultural desert," Bure said. "The culture overall needs it, and there is so little content out there that serves family and faith in a quality way."

However, Bure's outspoken support for her Christian beliefs has drawn criticism from some who accuse her of promoting cancel culture. She has faced backlash and challenges in her personal life and career. "Cancel culture is very real," Bure said. "They were trying to cancel me."

Despite these challenges, Bure remains committed to her faith and her mission to provide entertainment that aligns with her values.
