Reality TV star Scott Disick has reportedly sought professional help for his use of Ozempic, a diabetes drug that has become popular for off-label weight loss.

AceShowbiz - Sources close to Scott Disick have revealed that the 40-year-old reality TV star has decided to seek help for his Ozempic use, which was allegedly triggered by concerns about his "dad bod" following a back injury.

Earlier this year, photographs emerged showing Disick looking significantly thinner, prompting concerns from fans and family members. DailyMail reported that Disick had allegedly been using Ozempic in an attempt to lose weight, a claim now supported by insiders.

After recognizing that his rapid weight loss was unhealthy, Disick reportedly turned to a nutritionist to help manage his weight fluctuations. "Scott thought he looked good because he was thinner again, not realizing that this was not healthy," a source told the outlet.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is said to have struggled with self-esteem issues related to his weight gain. "He saw himself as fat and couldn't stand seeing himself in video footage," an insider explained.

Disick's family, including his ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian, are reportedly concerned about his excessive weight loss, but they are believed to be using this situation for ratings on their Hulu show, "The Kardashians."

Khloe Kardashian had previously expressed concerns about Disick's health during an episode of the show, prompting him to admit that he had not been doing his prescribed physical therapy.

Ozempic is an injectable medication typically used to treat Type 2 diabetes. However, it has gained popularity as an off-label weight loss treatment in Hollywood. While effective for weight loss, Ozempic can also have severe side effects, including bowel blockages and inflammation of the pancreas. Fat loss shots like Ozempic and Zepbound have been linked to over 100 deaths in the US.

Disick is not alone in seeking help for Ozempic use. Other celebrities like Sharon Osbourne, Whoopi Goldberg, and Oprah Winfrey also used weight-loss drugs.

With the support of his nutritionist and family, Scott Disick is now working towards a healthier approach to weight management.
