The 'What Do You Mean?' hitmaker surprises many festivalgoers by joining his two fellow artists onstage to deliver the remix of 'Essence' at the music event.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber has surprised his fans, famously known as Beliebers, by hitting the stage at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The "What Do You Mean?" hitmaker joined Tems and Wizkid to deliver the remix of "Essence" in front of festivalgoers.

On Sunday, April 14, the 30-year-old Canadian singer entertained the audience at the music event, which has been held since Friday at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. During Tems' set, he stepped on the stage for a surprise performance of the song remix, which features himself as well as the Nigerian songstress and was released by Wizkid in 2021.

Justin was the last artist to appear on the stage. While Tems and Wizkid were already on it, Justin approached his collaborators and could be heard singing, "And I don't wanna forget/ Those lonely nights/ Ooh, so tell me that you gon' ride with me/ Tell me that you'll never lie to me (Mm-hmm)."

The "Somebody to Love" singer serenaded, "I just wanna make you proud of me/ Want you lovin' every side of me/ I love the rhythm of your heartbeat/ The way you pushin' up on me/ I can tell that you want me/ Let me show you how it's gon' be."

Justin and Wizkid then sang simultaneously, "You don't need no other body/ You don't need no other body (Woah, woah, woah)/ Only you fi hold my body/ Only you fi hold my body/ You don't need no other body."

As Justin sang his verse, he shared a friendly hug with Wizkid. The two also shook hands and had a quick conversation. At one point, Justin, who appeared to be happy during his surprise performance, even flashed his radiant big smile. Before leaving the stage, Justin made sure to also embrace Tems, who thanked Justin for joining her and Wizkid, prompting the crowd to loudly cheer.

A video from Sunday's performance later made its rounds on X, formerly known as Twitter. It led X users to voice their thoughts on Justin hitting the stage. While many gushed over the performance, one in particular asked, "But couldn't come out with [Usher] for the SB?" Meanwhile, another penned, "I hate the way he dresses like bro you're not going to pick up weed you're performing at Coachella."
