AceShowbiz - Saweetie and YG have made their relationship status official at Coachella 2024. The pair, who reportedly broke up earlier this year, appear to be still very much together at the music and arts festival.
The hip-hop couple confirmed their reconciliation with their loved-up display when visiting the Neon Carnival area on Saturday, April 13. In a picture hitting the web, the lovebirds got cuddly as the rapper hugged his girlfriend from behind and wrapped his hands around her waist. The raptress, meanwhile, leaned her head on her boyfriend's.
Saweetie dressed to the nines in hip-hop chic look with a light denim jacket featuring bright pink furry sleeves and a pink-and-black polka dot trim. The "Icy Girl" raptress' long bright pink hair was styled straight with bangs and she wore a Louis Vuitton scarf as a headband.
The 30-year-old also donned cream-toned knitted leggings while she carried a white purse with a pearl chain. She also wore a pair of large hoop earrings with a diamond inlay, a pearl necklace and several acrylic bangles as her accessories.
YG, for his part, looked dapper in black pants and a white jacket with red, white and blue trim. He wore dark sunglasses and a black-billed hat, which he put on backward.
Saweetie and YG, who made their relationship Instagram official in August 2023 after first rumored dating in May, sparked split speculation in January. The Shade Room reported that they broke up because they're "both busy with their careers, and that's where their focus is at this time." A source told the outlet at the time that "this was a mutual decision and the two both feel as though they'd be better off as friends."
Just a day after the news broke, YG appeared to shoot his shot with Kehlani. He, however, seemed to debunk the split rumors by posting a video of him getting cuddly with the "My Type" femcee later in the same month.
In March, the pair sparked reconciliation rumors as they were putting on the PDA during his performance at Rolling Loud California. During his set at Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, the Compton native brought out his girlfriend onstage, introducing her as the "Queen of this West Coast s**t."
Saweetie treated the audience to a performance of her 2019 hit "My Type". As she was singing, he was rubbing up behind Saweetie and nuzzling her as he wrapped his arms around her body. They also exchanged "I love you" as she walked off stage.
