AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara, star of "Griselda," has revealed that she is in love with Dr. Julian Saliman, a renowned orthopedic surgeon. The actress took to her Instagram Story to share her affection for Saliman, who has been caring for her after she underwent major knee surgery.
In a photo posted to her story, Vergara is seen resting on her bed with her leg wrapped while Saliman smiles beside her, his hand resting on her knee. Vergara captioned the photo, "If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!! Luv u Dr @jdsaliman."
Vergara met Saliman in October 2022 when they were spotted out to dinner in Beverly Hills. Saliman, who studied sports medicine at Stanford and earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, is a practicing orthopedic surgeon at the famed Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Notably, Saliman is the inventor of the NovoStitch Pro Meniscal Repair System, which was acquired by Smith & Nephew for $105 million in 2019. He is considered a leading expert in knee surgery, particularly in repairing meniscus tears.
According to a source close to Vergara, the couple has been "taking things slow" since they first linked up in October. However, Vergara's recent public declaration of love suggests that their relationship has progressed significantly.
The timing of Vergara's announcement is particularly significant, as she was officially declared legally single earlier this month, following her divorce from Joe Manganiello.
