The 'Valley' star regrets ranting about his former Bravo reality television show which he called 'fake' and scripted' in a video that went viral recently.

AceShowbiz - Former "Vanderpump Rules" star Jax Taylor has issued an apology for his recent comments in which he called the show "scripted." Taylor, 44, made the remarks during a viewing party at his bar, Jax's Studio City, which were captured on video and went viral.
"I regretfully went on a rant about how Vanderpump Rules is scripted," Taylor said on his podcast, "When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany." "I'm sure many of you listening right now have saw the videos, and I'm incredibly embarrassed by that."
Taylor explained that he made the comments after receiving some upsetting information about former castmates Scheana Shay and Lala Kent. "About 10 minutes before I arrived at the bar, something was brought to my attention which really upset me," he said. "I don't want to get into details about what exactly it was about, but instead of speaking about it with the people involved, I took my anger out on the show."
Taylor apologized for his actions and said he feels badly for putting down a show that has "probably been the most authentic television out there." He added that he has had personal issues with Shay and Kent in the past, but that he should not have criticized the entire show.
"Certain people on the show may rub me the wrong way from time to time, but I should have never trashed the show like that," he said. "Vanderpump has been and continues to be incredible TV and I will always stand by that."
Taylor's estranged wife and co-host, Brittany Cartwright, also addressed the situation on the podcast. She said she was not present at the time of the incident and that she does not agree with Taylor's comments.
"I'm no part of this whatsoever," Cartwright said. "Do not group me in with what he says and did, please."
Taylor's apology comes as he is gearing up for the premiere of his new spinoff series, "The Valley," which will feature several former "Vanderpump Rules" cast members.
