AceShowbiz - Taylor Lautner's wife Taylor Dome, known as "Tay," humorously reacted to a TikTok video that imagined how Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends would react to her new album announcement. The video featured Taylor Lautner alongside Swift's other exes, including Harry Styles, John Mayer and Joe Alwyn.
"This is pretty accurate TBH," commented Tay, who is married to Lautner, who dated Swift for four months in 2009. Despite their breakup, Lautner and Swift have remained amicable.
Lautner even appeared in Swift's music video for "I Can See You" from her "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" re-release. During the "Eras Tour" premiere of the video, Swift acknowledged Lautner's positive influence on her life during the making of the original album.
"He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the 'Speak Now' album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video," Swift said.
Lautner responded to Swift's words with gratitude and respect. "I respect you so much... Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer - but truly for the human you are," he said.
According to Lautner, his wife Tay Dome, whom he married in 2022, is a dedicated Swiftie. "She let me know that I'm the only ex without a diss track now," Lautner joked.
Swifties have also praised Lautner's character, deeming him as Swift's "best ex." Lautner expressed appreciation for the compliment, stating, "I will take it and run. No complaints here."
Lautner emphasized Swift's hard work and humble demeanor. "She deserves everything that she is getting and going through right now because she's the hardest-working person," he said. "And just being at the pinnacle that she's at right now, the way that she carries herself and is just so gracious and kind to absolutely everyone, speaks to her character."
