The former E! reality television star discusses her unplanned cameo appearance in her pal Wendy Williams' documentary and insists people need to see the documentary.

AceShowbiz - Angela White, known as Blac Chyna, has opened up about her surprise cameo in the Lifetime documentary "Where Is Wendy Williams?" Speaking to Entertainment Tonight's Deidre Behar, White revealed that she had no knowledge cameras were present during her visit to Williams' home.

"I just went over to her house," she said, emphasizing the spontaneous nature of her appearance.

White's relationship with Williams began rocky, with Williams often criticizing her on the "Hot Topics" segment of "The Wendy Williams Show." However, their dynamic shifted after White appeared on the show in 2020.

"She's like, 'I have to get your number, I have to get your number,' " White recalled. "We ordered so much food, we had a great time. I really like Wendy."

Despite criticism, White defended the documentary's existence, acknowledging its importance in shedding light on Williams' struggles. "I definitely think it was necessary to be made," she asserted. "People actually do need to see it because it is happening and it can really, honestly happen to anybody."

White also emphasized the need to destigmatize discussions surrounding mental health and addiction, drawing parallels to her own struggles with alcohol. "I can relate to that," she said, referring to Williams' battle with substance abuse. "It hurts."

Williams' team confirmed her diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in February. Her family is currently contesting her guardianship.

White expressed compassion towards Williams, highlighting the need for understanding and support for those facing similar challenges.
