The 'Harry Potter' author doesn't need apologies from the actors of the wizarding movie franchise, insisting they 'can save their apologies' for vulnerable minors and women instead.

AceShowbiz - The ongoing conflict between J.K. Rowling and "Harry Potter" actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson over transgender rights has been rekindled. Rowling's recent comments on a review of gender identity services for children by Britain's National Health Service have sparked controversy.
The author shared a review that said there's "no good evidence on the long-term outcomes of interventions to manage gender-related distress." Describing the report as "a watershed moment," she criticized the "celebrity mouthpieces" who have supported the transitioning of minors.
When asked if she would forgive Radcliffe and Watson if they apologized for their previous criticism of her anti-transgender views, Rowling responded, "Not safe, I'm afraid."
"Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces," she added.
Radcliffe and Watson had previously expressed support for the transgender community. Radcliffe wrote in a letter to the Trevor Project, "It's clear that we need to do more to support transgender and nonbinary people, not invalidate their identities."
Watson stated, "Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned."
Rowling has been outspoken about her views on transgender issues, suggesting she would "happily" go to jail for them. She has also challenged the Scottish police to arrest her for misgendering people.
