The 'If You Had My Love' hitmaker reportedly changes the name of her upcoming tour from 'This Is Me… Now' to 'This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits' in an attempt to sell more tickets.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez appeared to be applying a different marketing strategy for her "This Is Me… Now" tour. Amid low ticket sales, the "On the Floor" songstress reportedly rebranded the music event as "Greatest Hits" concerts.

On Tuesday, April 2, Variety revealed that the 54-year-old singer has changed the name of the tour by trading "This Is Me... Now" for "This Is Me... Live | The Greatest Hits". The new title allegedly was seen in advertisements circulating on Facebook. By renaming it, she appeared to be rebranding it as a greatest hits tour.

The media outlet suggested that Jennifer may create "a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album's songs to one spanning her discography." This way, she most likely will be able to sell more tickets by attracting the interests of her listeners who are not fans of her latest record "This Is Me... Now".

However, Jennifer and her representative have not publicly spoken on the name changes. Similarly, Live Nation, a multinational entertainment company that produced the tour, has not yet issued a statement on the matter.

The alleged rebranding came after Jennifer disappointed her fans by calling off some of her upcoming shows, which are parts of the tour. She canceled the final seven gigs from August 20 to August 31. Throughout the dates, she was supposed to perform in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston.

As of March 13, each of the shows' Ticketmaster page has been taken down with a "Canceled" sign on it. It also has been replaced with a message that read, "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund."

While it was revealed that the "If You Had My Love" hitmaker and the team were forced to call off the concerts due to "logistical issue through the promoter," many believed that she made the difficult decision because of weak ticket sales. As seen on her Ticketmaster page at the time, many tickets for most of the tour dates were unsold.
