The Slim Shady channels his inner jokester to celebrate April Fools' Day by posting a fake trailer that seemingly teasing a new album release on social media.

AceShowbiz - On April Fools' Day, Eminem played a troll on his fans by teasing a new album release on social media. He shared a trailer with the caption "Out Now," leading many to believe he had dropped a new project as a surprise.

However, the announcement proved to be an April Fools' joke, disappointing fans who had eagerly awaited new music. "I checked Apple Music with excitement just to come back and say you're cruel for this," one wrote. Another commented, "i actually got fooled, bro this is so mean!!"

Despite the prank, Dr. Dre recently confirmed that Eminem is working on a new album, set to be released this year. In an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" last month, Dr. Dre stated, "Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year."

While fans await Eminem's upcoming album, they can revisit his 1996 debut album, "Infinite," which he jokingly "re-released" as part of his April Fools' prank. The album, which initially received mixed reviews, offers a rare glimpse at Eminem before he developed his later signature style.

Eminem's last full-body of work was his 11th studio album, "Music to Be Murdered By," released in 2020. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances from Skylar Grey, Young M.A, Royce da 5'9", Ed Sheeran, and others.
