The 'Borat' actor's statement arrives shortly after the 'Pitch Perfect' star revealed that Sacha is the 'a**hole' she writes about in her upcoming memoir, 'Rebel Rising'.

AceShowbiz - Sacha Baron Cohen has responded to Rebel Wilson's accusations against the actor. Through his representative, Sacha, who starred alongside Rebel on "The Brothers Grimsby", dubbed the allegations nothing but "false claims."

"While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence," the rep said on Monday, March 25, "including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of 'The Brothers Grimsby'."

The statement arrived shortly after Rebel revealed that Sacha is the "a**hole" she writes about in her upcoming memoir, "Rebel Rising". "I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers," the "Pitch Perfect" actress wrote on Instagram Stories. "The 'a**hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen."

Rebel Wilson accused Sacha Baron Cohen of being an 'a**hole.'

In a now-deleted post, the "I Feel Pretty" star added, "Now the a**hole is trying to threaten me. He's hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He's trying to stop press coming out about my new book."

Prior to this, the Australian actress reflected on when she "first came to Hollywood" and met a "massive a**hole," though she didn't name names at the time. "People were like, 'Yeah, I have a no-a**holes policy that means, like, I don't work with a**holes.' I was like, 'Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible, logical,' " she shared in a March 15 Instagram video.

"But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry," she continued. "Because I worked with a massive a**hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no-a**holes policy chapter on said a**hole. It is chapter 23. That guy was a massive a**hole."

This wasn't the first time Rebel shared her bad experience working with the "Borat" actor. Back in 2014, she said on Australian radio's "Kyle and Jackie O Show", "Sacha is so outrageous. Every day he's like, 'Just go naked, it will be funny.' And I'm, like, 'No!' Sacha and I have the same agent in America and I'm like, 'Sacha, I'm going to call our agent Sharon and tell her how much you are harassing me.' "

"He was like, 'Rebel can you just stick your finger up my butt?' And I went, 'What do you mean Sacha? That's not in the script,' " Rebel recalled what happened when filming the final scene of the movie. "And he's like, 'Look, I'll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it'll be a really funny bit.' "
