Congratulations are in order for the former Nickelodeon star and his spouse Mica von Turkovich after the couple welcomed their first child, four months following wedding.

AceShowbiz - Kendall Schmidt, the beloved star of Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush", and his wife, Mica von Turkovich, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Maple.
On Saturday, March 23, the couple took to Instagram to share the joyous news, posting a joint message that read, "[love emoji] Maple [love emoji]." Along with the announcement came two adorable photos of their newborn daughter.
In the first photo, Schmidt stands out of frame as he cradles Maple, who is wrapped in a cozy gray and white ensemble complete with a beanie cap and oversized socks. The second photo captures the proud papa holding his precious bundle of joy as they nuzzle heads.
Schmidt and von Turkovich have been together since 2012, having met three years earlier. After a seven-year romance, Schmidt proposed to his fiancee at Radio City Music Hall in New York City last June while on tour with Big Time Rush.
In November, the couple surprised their fans with two major announcements. They revealed that they had secretly tied the knot and they were expecting their first child together. They shared their pregnancy news with a heartwarming black and white post featuring a photo of the newlyweds surrounded by floral arrangements.
"Thankful for my baby," Schmidt wrote in the caption.
Schmidt is best known for his role as Kendall Knight in "Big Time Rush" and being a member of the eponymous boy band. The show ran for four seasons from 2009 to 2013, and the group has released four studio albums, the most recent being "Another Life" in 2023.
