AceShowbiz - Elizabeth Hurley didn't find it odd filming sex scenes in a movie directed by her son, Damian Hurley. Instead, the "Gossip Girl" alum said she feels "it's kind of liberating."

The 58-year-old stars as Lily in the new flick "Strictly Confidential". In the trailer, she can be seen doing some racy scenes with actress Pear Chiravara.

Elizabeth admitted that the scenes "weren't necessarily things I'd always done in movies many times before." However, she didn't ger apprehensive.

"Having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after," the English beauty explained in a joint interview with Damian for Access Hollywood. "It's kind of liberating to work with your family."

As for Damian, he acknowledged that this isn't for everyone. "People find this really controversial," the 21-year-old shared while further explaining that show business has "been a fundamental part of my entire life so for us it's just not a thing, it's part of business."

Elizabeth then chimed in, "I'm relaxed in front of him." She continued, "He looks after me... it's relaxing knowing someone is behind the camera who looks out for you."

"Strictly Confidential" which Damian also wrote, narrates about a group of friends and family returning to an island one year after Rebecca (Lauren McQueen) seemingly dies by suicide. However, things are not as they seem and Rebeca's cause of death may have been a result of foul play.

Damian once gushed about working with his mom back in December 2022. "AND. THAT'S. A. WRAP. Officially finished shooting my first ever feature as writer/director," he penned on Instagram.

"I can't begin to sum up how intense and wonderful the past few months have been," he added. "I'm truly blown away by the inspiring and talented people I've been able to work with ... and, most of all, my beautiful and supreme mother @ElizabethHurley1."

"Everyone involved deserves public declarations of adoration (all of which will come in due course) but right now I want to worship @ElizabethHurley1 who, during the making of my first ever short film back in 2010 (when I was 8 ) promised me she'd be in my first feature; true to her word, the minute this film was greenlit, Mama dropped everything and raced out to the beautiful Caribbean to help," he raved. "Working together was a dream."
