AceShowbiz - Amber Rose has reacted to a speculation suggesting that she and CJ Stroud are dating. The "Good Mourning" actress and the NFL star made many believe that they have something more than a friendship after being spotted leaving a softball game together.
On Friday, February 16, the 40-year-old actress made use of Instagram Story to deny the romance rumor. She wrote, "We literally don't know each other and only met yesterday at a softball game. The sprinter left me and he was nice enough to give me a ride to my hotel. Thx again @cj7stroud."
Amber's statement came shortly after a video of her and CJ outside a stadium circulated online. In the clip, she and the 22-year-old football player could be seen making their way out of a stadium together. They were spotted at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on Thursday night, February 15.
Amber and CJ were caught on camera heading to a white Lamborghini car in a parking lot outside the stadium. The two were walking close to each other after they played in Travis Scott (II)'s 2024 Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic.
In the footage, Amber was documented showing off her jaw-dropping figure in a figure-hugging outfit after the game. She opted to wear a long-sleeved black top that came with a huge cut-out on the wearer's shoulder and a pair of loose long black tailored pants.
The former "College Hill: Celebrity Edition" star also donned a pair of black pointed-toe high heels and a matching leather belt with a gold embellishment. She covered her eyes with a pair of matching sunglasses and kept her belongings in a matching handbag. In addition, she accessorized herself with a pair of big gold hoop earrings.
In the meantime, CJ went with a more casual ensemble. The Houston Texans quarterback kept his body warm in a yellow hoodie that came with graphics on its front and back side, a pair of long black pants and black-and-white sneakers. The upper part of his long hair, which was braided, was covered with a black baseball hat. He was carrying two black duffle bags from Nike.
Prior to the romance rumor, Amber dated a number of famous artists. Among them were Wiz Khalifa, with whom she shares son Sebastian Taylor, Alexander Edwards, with whom she has son Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, and Kanye West.
