The 'Yellowstone' actor takes to his Instagram page to introduce the 'newest addition to the family,' a white Labrador puppy, which he sweetly cradles in his arms in one of the photos he shares.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Costner is definitely game for some puppy love following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner. The actor has declared that he's "in love" again after recently getting himself a new furry companion ahead of Valentine's Day.
On Thursday, February 1, the 69-year-old made use of his social media page to introduce "the newest addition" to his family. In his post, he debuted a white Labrador Retriever, which looks adorable in three snaps he shared via Instagram.
In one of the photos, Kevin stood and leaned against the driver's side of a large black truck while the puppy was seen running on the grass in front of him. The second image showed the Hollywood star cradling the precious puppy in his arms while looking at the camera.
The third snap gave a close-up look at the puppy as it laid down on a wooden floor and stared into the camera. "Newest addition to the family. I'm already in love with this special guy," Kevin wrote in the caption.
Kevin didn't reveal the name of his new puppy, making his followers curious. "Mr. Costner!!! That's the cutest puppy ever!!! Congrats!!! I want to know what you name him!" one person asked in the comments section. Another similarly wrote, "Adorable puppy! What's his/her name?"
Some others came up with possible names for the puppy. "Crash? Would be a good name for him," a third person suggested. Another suggested the actor to name his new pet "Aspen."
Kevin likely got the new puppy as his belated birthday gift. The "Yellowstone" star turned 69 years old two weeks ago, on January 18 to be exact. He marked the day with a reflective post by sharing a throwback photo from his debut film, 1981's "Malibu Hot Summer".
"Celebrating another year of life today and taking a moment to honor this kid who had big dreams. It's hard to believe how far we've come," he captioned the shot. "Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It's because of your support that I've been able to chase my dreams all these years."
Kevin has been single following his split from Christine, who filed for divorce in May 2023 after nearly 20 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in September of the same year. He was recently rumored to be romancing singer Jewel Kilcher, but neither of them has addressed the dating rumors.
