The 42-year-old takes to Instagram to share a couple of pictures of Lucy lying in an incubator and hooked up on medical machines while asking his followers for prayers for his baby.

AceShowbiz - Jordi Vilasuso and his wife Kaitlin are asking prayers for his youngest daughter. "The Young and the Restless" alum took to his Instagram account to share that their daughter has been admitted to the NICU for a partially collapsed lung.
In his Monday, January 29 post, Jordi shared a couple of pictures of Lucy lying in an incubator. The other picture, meanwhile, saw the baby, who is only 35 weeks, being hooked up to medical equipment and a patient monitor as she's wrapped up in a blanket.
Detailing the health scare, he wrote, "We found out Monday that Lucy had RSV and by Monday night she had been admitted to the hospital w/ difficulty breathing. Last night, things unexpectedly took a turn for the worse and she was moved to NICU w/ what the doctors described as a partially collapsed right lung."
Jordi admitted that he's "still struggling to believe this as I type," he continued. Concluding his message, the actor later asked his followers to "pray with us for miraculous healing for Lucy's precious little body. We love her so much and just want her home and happy and in our arms."
Jordi's "Young and the Restless" co-star Doug Davidson prayed for the couple's daughter in a comment underneath the post. "Heavenly Father, watch with us over your child Lucy, and grant that she may be restored to that perfect health which it is yours alone to give; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen," so he wrote.
Actress Eileen Davidson also showed support for Jordi and Kaitlin, writing, "Prayers and love for Lucy." As for "Days of Our Lives" star Eric Martsolf, he said, "Lisa and I have your family in our thoughts. All my best brother."
Kaitlin also took to Instagram Stories to share updates on their youngest daughter. In one of her posts, she thanked her followers for their support and asked them to continue keeping their "love and prayers and healing energy coming."
She additionally shared a snap of her holding hands with her husband and older daughters, Riley Grace, 10, and Everly Maeve, 7. She wrote over the picture, "Thankful for family bedtime prayers for the first time since all of this happened..anxious to have the littlest hands in our circle back home." Another slide, meanwhile, featured a video of Lucy sleeping with her hand poking out of the blanket. Kaitlin wrote, "This little hand.. hi sweet baby."
According to the Mayo Clinic, RSV causes infections of the lungs and respiratory tract. While it's so common that most children have been infected with the virus by age 2, it can cause severe infections in babies under 12 months.
