AceShowbiz - Russell Wilson loves all his children equally, including his stepson Future Zahir Wilburn. The NFL star, who recently welcomed another daughter with his wife Ciara, has shown his love for his stepson, whom the singer has with her rapper ex Future.
On Thursday, January 25, the Denver Broncos player made use of his Instagram picture to share a sweet picture of him and Future Jr. In the photo, the young boy wrapped his hands around his stepdad's neck and the athlete put his hands on his stepson's as both of them flashed big smiles. The 35-year-old simply captioned the snap, "Forever."
After seeing the bond between Russell and Future Jr., many praised the football star for stepping up to be a father figure for the 9-year-old boy. "Real dad, husband and man," one person wrote in the comments section of the post. Another raved, "The real MVP!!! Always!! Nothing to do with football."
Others reacted after the photo was reposted on The Shade Room's Instagram account, with one commenting, "Y'all should be use to this by now. He been in that boy life since he was a baby. This not even a debate that's his FATHER."
Another raved over Russell, "He's such a GEM. He loves that child like he's his own." Similarly, another user opined, "He ain't a step father. He's the father who stepped up put some respect on his name."

Russell has been raising Future Jr. with Ciara since he married the R&B star in 2016. The couple also has two daughters, who were born in 2017 and December 2023, as well as a son born in 2020.
In September 2023, Ciara appeared to throw shade at her ex Future when asked about her co-parenting relationship with the rapper. She laughed for 30 seconds straight without answering the question before saying to the host, "Thembi, you're awesome."
