The 'You Give Me Something' singer has reportedly put on hold any future work commitments after his partner died following Rumors of trouble in paradise.

AceShowbiz - James Morrison is said to have cancelled any future work commitments in the wake of his partner's death. The "You Give Me Something" singer, 39, discovered his long-term love Gill Catchpole, 45, dead at their family house in Gloucester on Friday, January 5 after a friend could not contact the caterer.
"New year, new adventure," he shared a reference to his music career - which has been on hold in recent years - in a post on Instagram hours before her death last Thursday, showing him playing guitar in front of a screen with the caption.
Despite being out of the spotlight in recent years, James did return to the stage with a 22-date "Greatest Hits" tour in 2022 and played festivals including Kew The Music, London.
His New Year post suggests he was planning another return to music, given that the social media photo showed him in front of recording and mixing equipment. However, the Mail Online has reported the plan is delayed following Gill's death.
An inquest was told on Tuesday, January 9 James was confronted with the tragic scene of his wife's death after a friend could not get hold of the mum-of-two.
The hearing was also informed Gill - who had two daughters, Elsie, 15, and five-year-old Ada-Rose Catchpole, with James - was found at the house she shared with the singer and their children in Whitminster, Gloucestershire on Friday, January 5.
Police said they were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Gill's death. The hearing was told James had a key to the property and found his wife on entering. Paramedics and police were called after he found her and she was pronounced dead at 9.37am.
Before she died, she was pictured without her wedding ring and looked for a rental house "ASAP."
