Smith-Cameron ("Succession"), Meryl Streep ("Only Murders in the Building") and Hannah Waddingham ("Ted Lasso").

"Thank you so much! Thank you to the creatives of this show for trusting me with this part," Debicki said in her speech. "To cast and crew, to my beautiful pretend children who I just adore, to my mom and my dad… My partner Kristian who said don't thank me so that I'm not on television but I'm gonna thank you anyway. Who else? Goodness, maybe that's it."

"This is just astonishing to me… I just want to say thank you to my beloved and dear Godmother who left us too quickly, too soon," she continued. "This one is for you, baby."

Joining Debicki in the list of TV winners was Matthew Macfadyen. The actor won Best Supporting Male Actor - Television for his role as Tom Wambsgans in the final season of "Succession". He additionally praised series creator Jesse Armstrong and "all our extraordinary writers," adding, "I'm too shared to name them all 'cause I'll forget them all, and I won't sleep. To Adam McKay, to Francine Maisler, HBO, to all our wonderful directors and producers and, of course, our gorgeous crew and cast, who I miss very much. Thank you."

Later that night, Jeremy Allen White was honored with Best Television Male Actor Musical/Comedy Series for his appearance as Carmy on "The Bear" . It marks his second win for the same category in a row. This year's Golden Globe Award featured a new category, Best Stand-Up Comedian on Television. Ricky Gervais' "Ricky Gervais: Armageddon" was revealed to be the first winner of the newly-debut category despite controversies.

Giving another win to "The Bear" was Ayo Edebiri, who was honored with Best Television Female Actor - Musical/Comedy Series trophy for her portrayal of an ambitious young sous-chef named Sydney. She additionally expressed gratitude to her family, "everybody at 'The Bear" and "the actors I was nominated alongside." She added, "There's so many people who I probably forgot to thank and - oh my god, all of my agents and managers assistants. The people who answer my emails. Y'all are real ones. Thank you for answering my crazy, crazy emails. Yeah, I'm really, really grateful. If I forgot to thank you, I'm sorry. Unless you were mean or something."

The night was also special for "Succession" star Kieran Culkin after he was revealed to be the winner of Best Television Male Actor - Drama Series. In his speech, he jokingly taunted Pedro Pascal, who joined Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Gary Oldman and Dominic West as his strong competitors for the category.

"I was nominated for a Golden Globe 20 years ago, and when that moment passed I sort of remember thinking I'm never going to be back in this room again. Which, was fine. Whatever. But thanks to 'Succession', I've been in here a couple of times, which is nice. But I sort of accepted I'm never going to be on stage, so this is a nice moment, thank you," he said, before adding, "Suck it, Pedro. Mine!" "The Last of Us" actor could be seen laughing in the audience.
