More than five months after announcing her pregnancy, the former 'Orange Is the New Black' star also reveals the name of the newborn baby and the meaning behind it.

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Uzo Aduba and Robert Sweeting. The former "Orange Is the New Black" star has welcomed her first child with her husband and treated social media users to photos of their daughter.
On Thursday, November 30, the 42-year-old actress made use of her Instagram page to share a series of photos featuring the baby, Adaiba Lee Nonyem, while still keeping the newborn's face away from the public's eyes. One of the photos highlighted her little hand, ear and tresses.
In the particular picture, Adaiba could be seen lying on her mother's chest as the "Greedy People" actress flashed her radiant smile to the camera. Meanwhile, another picture, which was in black-and-white color, showed Adaiba's cute feet and fingers.
Along with the photos, Uzo voiced her feelings after giving birth to Adaiba. In the caption of the post, she penned, "My daughter. I've never been in love so quickly, so deeply in my entire life. I really don't know what to say, guys. My heart is full."
The "National Champions" actress went on to express, "Thank you, God. I have joy like a fountain. I have witnessed a miraculous thing, and I feel blessed to know you are ours. We love you so much, Adaiba Lee Nonyem - Daughter of the people, treasurer of the mother's names who came before you."
In the same caption, Uzo further exclaimed, "I'm a Mommy you guys." She additionally stated, "Motherhood. I've joined the club. I hear the dues are high, but the membership is completely worth it [a smiling face emoji]." Near the end of it, she added a hashtag that read, "#grateful."
The baby's arrival came around five months after Uzo announced that she and her husband Robert were expecting their first child together. On June 11, she revealed via Instagram, "What a blessing. My husband Robert and I are so happy to enter this next chapter together as parents. I am beyond excited. I get to be someone's Mommy!"
That same day, Uzo debuted her baby hump when making an appearance at the 2023 Tony Awards. Hitting the red carpet of the event with Robert, she struck a number of poses while placing one of her hands on her growing stomach. She showed off her pregnancy glow in an orange crop top and a pair of loose matching high-waisted pants.
