AceShowbiz - Chris Evans has returned to social media with a surprise for his fans. Around six months after taking some time away from Instagram, the leading man in "Captain America: The First Avenger" treated his devotees to a new adorable video.

On Wednesday, November 22, the 42-year-old Marvel actor uploaded a video of himself visiting Animal Haven, a nonprofit animal rescue in Manhattan that was established back in 1967. In the clip, he said, "I'm here today at Animal Heaven in New York City. We are gonna bring some Jinx goodies to some of the pups inside. There are literally thousands of dogs that are waiting to be adopted all across the country, just like my dog Dodger."

The clip went on to show Chris sitting on a sofa with his puppy Dodger before he was seen meeting Animal Heaven's executive director. He was later documented being approached by a disabled dog, which was walking with the help of wheels. While hugging the puppy, he exclaimed, "You got your wheels! Look at you, hi!" In the footage, he also played with a number of other puppies as he gave them several bags of treats.

For the fun visit, Chris, who married actress Alba Baptista a few months prior, looked stunning in a casual ensemble, consisting of a short-sleeved navy blue tee that came with gold "east side ink tattoo" graphics on its front side, a pair of long black jeans and black Nike sneakers with white soles. To complete the look, he put on a dark-colored Red Sox hat, a pair of clear glasses, a gold necklace and red as well as black bracelets.

Along with the footage, the "Captain America: Civil War" actor wrote in the caption of the post, "Hi everyone! I'm back [smiling face emoji] . I'm thankful for a LOT of things this year, but dogs are always high on the list. So glad to hear that these dogs got adopted, and that we were able to set them up with a year's worth of @thinkjinx food and treats." He then concluded, "Happy thanksgiving everyone!"
