AceShowbiz - Michael Jackson's son Blanket was spotted out and about in Los Angeles. The 21-year-old, who is the youngest son of the late music legend, was unrecognizable as he looked very grown up in the new rare sighting.
Pictures circulating online saw Blanket, whose legal name is Prince Michael Jackson II, at a Barnes & Noble book shop in Calabasas where he could be seen checking out the television and movie section. Bigi apparently managed to pick some books to buy as he was pictured leaving the store with a large brown paper bag.
For the outing, he looked casual in a gray The Doors T-shirt that he paired with bright red shorts. He also wore white Nike socks and black trainers as he let his chin-length hair down.
The bookstore outing came as a surprise as Bigi was typically keeping a very low profile. His nickname Blanket was given to him because his father Michael would often cover his face in public to protect his privacy.
Bigi, who was born in 2002, was only seven years old when the "Heal the World" hitmaker died. The young Bigi reportedly "acted very lost and extremely upset," with a source telling PEOPLE, "The kids live like Michael is constantly looking down upon them... [Blanket] has had the most problems adjusting after Michael died."
In the Jackson family's 2012 documentary "Jacksonology: Our Story", Bigi shared how his father inspired him to be a director. "Sometimes I would go in [Michael's] room while he was getting ready for something and watch. He was a good dancer, he was a very good dancer. I can't dance or sing, I'm not that kind of person who sings and dances," he explained. "When I grow up I want to be a director because it's fun, and I make little movies when I'm at my house with cousins and friends and different things."
In addition to Bigi, Michael had two other children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. a.k.a. Prince Jackson and Paris Jackson, whom he shares with his second wife, Debbie Rowe.
