The 55-year-old singer, who is dubbed 'Queen of Power Ballads', is said to have 'good days, even weeks, and she's committed to sharing those times with her children.'

AceShowbiz - Celine Dion is done hiding. If a new report is to be believed, the "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker wants to stop hiding at home amid her stiff person syndrome (SPS) battle.

An insider told Closer Weekly that the 55-year-old superstar doesn't want to "hide out at home" anymore. The "Queen of Power Ballads" is said to have "good days, even weeks, and she's committed to sharing those times with her children."

The source added that "with the help of her family doctors, therapists and specialists, she seems to have things under control at the moment." The informant continued, "While she isn't the person she was before her condition, she feels stronger now."

The source went on to claim that the Canadian singer has "gone through hell" over the past 12 months as she battles the rare disease, which causes agonizing pain and debilitating muscle spasms.

Celine did start making public appearances in recent weeks. The "All By Myself" songstress made her first appearance in three and a half years when attending an NHL game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, October 30 night between the Vegas Golden Knights and her hometown team the Montreal Canadiens. She reportedly managed to sing "a few notes" during the outing.

The team's VP of hockey communications Chantal Machabee has told PEOPLE, "It was an incredible moment. She's an amazing woman," adding that the star was in such good spirits after a difficult period. "She's been through a lot, and to see her like this and smiling and being so happy... it's amazing. I know she has good days and not so good days, but this was a very good day, and it was reassuring."

Later, Celine showed up at Katy Perry's final Las Vegas residency show "Katy Perry: PLAY" on November 4. A clip from the show saw Celine dancing and bobbing to the music.

"The Power of Love" singer's appearance at Katy's concert apparently raised fans' hope that the former would resume her own residency soon. "Dion was seen dancing throughout the show, giving fans and officials more confidence she can return to the stage in 2024," Las Vegas Review-Journal writer John Katsilometes wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "I'm optimistic about her return next year. Maybe in the spring, even … Merely an educated assessment."
