AceShowbiz - Travis Barker has found himself in hot water following Alabama Barker's new social media post. The drummer of Blink-182 was highly criticized for showing his support to his 17-year-old daughter posing in a racy outfit.
On Friday, November 10, Alabama, who used to star on "Meet the Barkers", uploaded a series of her photos via Instagram. In the snaps, she could be seen exposing her chest and stomach in a revealing dress. Despite being a minor, she opted to wear the gown that came with a huge cut-out on the wearer's bodice.
The daughter of Travis and Shanna Moakler barely covered her upper assets with the outfit. The brown dress, which had dark-colored patterns all over it, featured two very thin straps on her shoulders and a similar one on her chest.
Alabama accessorized the look with a pair of hoop earrings, a sparkling silver necklace, a number of rings and bracelets as well as a wrist watch. She styled her long blonde hair into loose waves and parted her long bangs to the side.
Instead of praises, the post was bombarded with criticisms from Instagram users, who called out her father Travis for liking the photos. In the comments section, one in particular blasted him, "And her FATHER has LIKED the post. Poor thing, never stood a chance."
Another joined in and asked, "How is this crap allowed on Instagram when this is a MINOR and her father is liking posts like this and putting flames underneath are you kidding me?" A third pointed out, "I don't care what anyone says this girl is not an adult and shouldnt be dressing this way. Where is her daddy to correct this behavior? What happened to respect your body?"
The negative online responses did not end with three comments. A fourth stated that they "feel sorry for her." The commenter added, "She is a beautiful girl who could be using her platform for so much more than this. She is 17…. The fact that her father likes these types of posts is ridiculous," adding a crying face emoji.
