The 'Lose You to Love Me' songstress' beauty company posts a pro-Palestine message on Instagram after the actress/singer insisted that she's not taking sides amid the conflict.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez is apparently changing her tune about the Palestine-Israel war. The singer/actress, through her brand Rare Beauty, has pledged to help Palestinian civilians amid the violence taking place in Gaza.

On Monday, November 6, Selena's beauty brand released a lengthy statement addressing the conflict in the Middle East. Showing support for Palestinian civilians, the company stated, "We are devastated by the images & reports coming from the Middle East."

It pointed out, "Thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes & millions of civilians have been displaced & left without access to food, water, medicine, or basic necessities for survival. A large number of these victims are children. Palestinian civilians must be protected, period."

"We remain heartbroken by the horrible terror attack against innocent civilians in Israel on October 7th, many of them also children. There is no situation where attacks on civilians are acceptable," they added. "We strongly denounce any & all forms of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia."

"We urge everyone to support humanitarian organizations working tirelessly to provide aid & relief to those in need. Every bit of help can make a difference," the statement continued to read. "Rare Beauty will be making donations to the International Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies - Magen David Adom, & Palestinian Red Crescent Society - who are providing urgent care on the ground. We will also be donating to UNICEF to help get urgent medical relief & resources to the children of Gaza."

The statement was issued several days after Selena responded to the backlash over her neutral stance. "I'm taking a break and deleting my Instagram. I'm done," the 31-year-old former Disney darling wrote on her Story on November 2. She then doubled down on her neutral stance amid the ongoing conflict in Middle East, stating, "I do not support any of what's going on." She, however, later deleted the message.

Selena earlier came under fire after she broke her silence on the Israel-Palestine war. "I've been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence and terror that's going on in the world," she initially wrote. "People being tortured and killed or any act of hate towards any one group is horrific."

Without taking sides, the "Only Murders in the Building" actress continued, "We need to protect ALL people, especially children and stop the violence for good. I'm sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can't stand by innocent people getting hurt. That's what makes me sick."

She stressed, "I wish I could change the world. But a post won't. Love, Selena." In a follow-up Story, Selena shared a picture of a young girl and wrote in the caption, "Having a sister, everyday has made me tragically sick. I would do anything for children and innocent lives."
