In his memoir 'If You Would Have Told Me', the 'Big Shot' star recalls having tears rolling down his face after witnessing his then-girlfriend and the actor sleeping in her house.

AceShowbiz - John Stamos has admitted that he couldn't breathe following a painful betrayal. In his book titled "If You Would Have Told Me", the "Big Shot" star claims that he saw his then-girlfriend Teri Copley in bed with Tony Danza and recalls his reaction at that time.
In an excerpt of the memoir obtained by Entertainment Weekly, the 60-year-old actor talks about the horrible moment which he deems his "worst nightmare." He explains that he and Teri did not communicate as much as they normally did when he was far away due to his "car shows and gigs" back in the 1980s.
John reveals that he quickly drove his car to Teri's home in the Valley after remembering that her former husband Chip Mayer was in the city for the weekend. Once he arrived at her house, he saw a car parked in her driveway while there were "no lights on" and "no movement behind the windows."
"A black 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster, vintage convertible. Strange. I shuffle to the car with my stomach sinking and take a quick look inside," he writes in the book, which is set to hit bookshelves on Tuesday, October 24. "There's a hairbrush, keys, boxing gloves, and a half-unrolled poster of my girlfriend, naked, barely covered by a white sheet. Half of her butt is showing. I've never seen this poster before."
John recalls observing a guesthouse, wherein he and Teri sometimes slept together, after learning that the front and side doors of the main house were locked. "The blinds are closed, but the door is slightly open. I take a peek inside and see four feet protruding from the shabby-chic, floral-print duvet that once kept me warm," he recounts.
"My Tiny Dancer is in bed with Mr. Porsche Speedster. They are sleeping. I can't tell who he is, but I recognize Teri's a** barely covered by the sheets. It looks like her new poster," he continues. "I try to hold back tears. Time slows until I'm frozen. I can't breathe. A few tears roll down my face, and it pisses me off. They snap me out of my daze, and I feel angry and confused. I could explode."
"Do I pull him out of the bed by his hair, kick him in the nuts, and beat his a**? She's my girlfriend. Who is this piece of s**t? He looks familiar. Content bastard. He rolls over, exposing his ripped abs and muscular body," the "Full House" star adds.
John immediately left the house and took the poster of Teri which was in the vintage car. "I stare at the two-dimensional, half-dressed woman that I thought I knew. She's signed the poster, with little hearts, 'My Dear Tony, I'll love you forever. XO, Teri.' Tony? Who the hell is Tony?" he writes. Later on, he realized that it was "the name of my rival." He additionally pens, "Hold me closer, Tony Danza."
John had been in a relationship with Teri for more than one year when he saw her with Tony. However, Teri insisted to PEOPLE that she did not cheat on John, claiming they "were no longer together" at that time.
