The 'Live With Kelly and Mark' co-hosts reveal a hilarious story about their friend who burned his manhood after touching the spicy pepper, which Mark deems 'very irritating.'

AceShowbiz - Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are avoiding a "dangerous" spicy pepper trend for their own safety. The "Live With Kelly & Mark" co-hosts are holding back from joining the trend as they revealed that there was a saucy accident caused by the pepper.

In the Wednesday, October 18 episode of the show, the 53-year-old actress nearly attempted the spicy pepper challenge after the TV program's executive producer brought a bowl of habaneros. Before she did, her 52-year-old husband warned and reminded her that the pepper once burned their friend's manhood, calling the viral trend, wherein people make their lips look bigger by rubbing the pepper on their lips, "very dangerous."

"Once you touch these things, and you touch something else," he said with his hand gestures pointing to a number of his body parts. He went on to stress that the pepper is "very irritating" and it can even be "very, very dangerous."

In return, Kelly asked her husband, "Yes, remember when Kyle made his guacamole and accidentally touched the spicy peppers?" It did not take long for Mark to reply, "And then he touched his no-no place!" Kelly quickly spilled, "That was the day the barbecue was canceled."

This was not the first time Kelly and Mark unveiled a hilarious story on their show "Live with Kelly and Mark". Previously, she confessed that she met his housekeepers for the first time when she was in her birthday suit. In the August 29 episode, she asked him, "I met the housekeepers. You wanna know how I learned about the housekeepers?"

"I walked out of the bedroom, naked. That's right! I said it! Naked!" the longtime host of the talk show stated. She additionally pointed out, "And that's when I met the housekeepers, one of which was a guy! So I think he learned his lesson to announce himself before he enters."

The amusing topic was brought up when Kelly and Mark were talking about their roles in their household. "I would have taken all of the AC [problems] if you would have learned how to put a singular dish into a singular dishwasher," she said. "Mark's like, 'I did the dishes, I put my plate in the sink.' I'm like, 'And then what do you think happens?' "

In response, Mark insisted that his kitchen at his Vancouver home was "pristine" when he lived alone during the filming of his series "Riverdale". Kelly could not help but mention the "three housekeepers" that he had in the house.
