While 'Harry Potter' star and the BAFTA Award winner seem to be having a lot fun during their outing in Mayfair, London, the British writer says that the actress is 'out of [his] league.'

AceShowbiz - Months after her split from Brandon Green, Emma Watson may have moved on with someone one. The actress has been caught having a "cozy" lunch date with British filmmaker Hassan Akkad in London.
The pair enjoyed a date at expensive Italian restaurant Cecconi's in Mayfair earlier this week. "They seemed very cozy," an onlooker said of the twosome. The British actress was reportedly caught embracing the BAFTA Award winner during their lunch date.
Emma and Hassan, indeed, looked happy and in good spirits that day. In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the two were all smiles as they walked side by side when leaving the restaurant. They were later seen getting into the filmmaker's Skoda SUV.
Both of them dressed casually for the outing. Emma was wearing a blue sweatshirt with dark trousers teamed with white sneakers. She had a large black backpack slung over one of her shoulders while she held a cup of coffee. The "Harry Potter" star appeared to go makeup free and kept her accessory to a minimum with a necklace. She sported bright red nails while her hair was styled in a messy updo.
As for Hassan, he rocked a black Nike sweatshirt with white stripes paired with black shorts. He also put on a pair of white-and-gray sneakers while covering his eyes with dark shades. He was seen holding his own cup of coffee while also carrying what seems to be Emma's water bottle.
Emma and Hassan have struck up a friendship since 2017, when they met at a summit in Italy where they were both giving talks. Despite their seemingly close relationship, the former English teacher in Damascus told the Mail on Thursday, October 12 of the 33-year-old actress, "She's out of my league."
In his memoir "Hope Not Fear", the human rights activist wrote about his experience of meeting the actress, "I suggested that we borrow one of the Maserati that were being loaned to guests and go for a drive. There I was, driving a car with Emma Watson through the stunning countryside."
"I kept saying how surreal the whole experience was and so Emma started filming me on her mobile phone," the writer continued recalling. "We went back and that night we danced together at the hotel. Back in the U.K., my friendship with Emma grew."
He went on sharing, "We went to a music festival together and she introduced me to her friends. We have a shared passion for photography and films. We would usually spend time at her house because she didn't want to go out and get recognised."
Emma was previously in a relationship with Brandon Green. They were reportedly in a "serious" relationship for 18 months before breaking up "some time after Christmas" in 2022.
The split rumors arrived in May after it was said that Emma was getting back together with one of her ex-boyfriends. The "Beauty and the Beast (2017)" actress was spotted attending a Taylor Swift concert in Las Vegas earlier this year with her ex Brendan Wallace.
