In a new interview, the 'Avengers' actor recalls giving the 'Black Widow' actress and the 'Deadpool' actor '10 pounds of bees' that allow them to have 'honey for a couple of years.'

AceShowbiz - Samuel L. Jackson has given Scarlett Johansson and her ex-husband Ryan Reynolds a stinging wedding gift. Through a brand new magazine interview, the "Secret Invasion" star revealed that he purposefully presented "10 pounds of bees" to the former couple.

In an article published on Thursday, July 20, the 74-year-old actor spilled to Vulture his unusual gift. He recalled, "My wedding gift to them was a beehive. I had my assistant go out and buy 10 pounds of bees and then I bought them bee suits and the whole thing."

On his motive, the "Avengers: Infinity War" actor explained, "Scarlett was always talking about nature." He added, "They kept bees for a while. They got honey for a couple of years while they were married. And then one day the bees abandoned the hive or they abandoned the queen or some s**t."

Samuel made the confession about his unique wedding gift for Scarlett and Ryan following a discussion about his 46-year-old co-star. Speaking of "The Hitman's Bodyguard" actor, he said, "Ryan is a savvy motherf**ker. I knew him from when he and Scarlett Johansson got married."

"There's no other reason to do something like 'The Hitman's Bodyguard' other than wanting to be in that space with somebody like Ryan Reynolds, who's just an enormous amount of fun to be with," he went on to gush.

"I don't think 'The Hitman's Bodyguard' is an A-list movie in anybody's category. But I also know that if it's me and Ryan and were having a good f**king time, a lot of people are going to watch it and they're going to be like, 'This is f**king great.' We changed the tone of that material because we did it," Samuel continued boasting.

Elsewhere in the interview, Samuel talked about roles that excite him. "I still get excited by action pictures or things that pique my sense of humor," he pointed out. "Even though I like a serious movie. But I'm still looking for those movies that I like to watch over and over again."

"I still got that kind of thing with me - when I go outdoors to play, I want to play with people that are cool," he continued. "Even in 'Secret Invasion', with Olivia Colman, when I walked in that room and she was there, we both just looked at each other and started laughing, 'This is going to be that kind of day. This is going to be a great day.' And it was."
