When out and about on a beach in Los Angeles, the 'Milk' actor is caught on camera sharing a hug with his 'Secret Life of Walter Mitty' co-star before parting ways.

AceShowbiz - Sean Penn and Kristen Wiig have proven to be good friends off camera. Years after joining forces in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", the "Flag Day" actor was seen enjoying "good time together" with the "Bridesmaids" actress during a beach outing.
The twosome, who portrayed Sean O'Connell and Cheryl Melhoff in the 2013 movie, were spotted out and about on a beach in Los Angeles on Friday, July 14. While the 62-year-old actor was shirtless during the outing, his 49-year-old former co-star donned a bikini.
About the pair's outing, an eyewitness told Page Six that the two "seemed to have a good time together." In pictures obtained by the outlet, Sean could be seen playing catch with his golden retriever dog, whereas Kristen sat on a beach towel soaking up the sun.
One photo in particular captured Sean sitting on the sand when taking a break from playing with his dog. Other photos displayed Sean and Kristen sharing a hug before she left the beach. Sean's new girlfriend Olga Korotyayeva and Kristen's husband Avi Rothman were not seen joining the two on the beach.
On the occasion, Sean showed off his abs by going topless and donned only a pair of green short pants. Kristen, in the meantime, was seen arriving in a short-sleeved purple tree, a brown beach hat and a pair of strappy black flat sandals. She also carried a big gray tote bag to keep her belongings.
During her time at the beach, Kristen changed her outfit into a brown patterned bra top that came with thin straps and a pair of matching bikini bottoms. She added a pair of brown sunglasses to keep her eyes from the harsh sunlight and a wristwatch.
Sean and Kristen's beach outing came more than one month after the actor enjoyed a PDA-packed vacation with his new girlfriend Olga. On June 7, Sean and Olga were captured on camera making out while strolling around Rome. At the time, Sean wrapped his hands around Olga as they locked lips.
