The 'Super Freaky Girl' hitmaker initially revealed earlier this month that her long-awaited album, which will serve as a follow-up to 2018's 'Queen', would be released on October 20.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has finally unveiled the name of her upcoming album and its new release date. Titled "Pink Friday 2", the project is set to be released on November 17.

The Harajuku Barbie shared the announcement via Instagram on Thursday, June 29. Sharing a photo of herself, she wrote, "Dear Barbz, I've been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I'll share with you guys @ a later time, I've shifted the album date just a tad bit."

"Trust me, it'll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT," she added. "But since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I'd like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don't have to get cussed out so…here it goes: MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23- And she shall be called #PinkFriday2."

Nicki went on to thank her fans, "I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn't even deserve all that you have poured into me." She then noted, "Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024. I'll also share the REAL album cover at a later date."

Nicki initially revealed earlier this month that her long-awaited album would arrive on October 20. However, when making the announcement, the female rapper didn't disclose the name of the record.

"Pink Friday 2" will follow "Queen", which was released back in 2018. It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spun off several major hits, such as "Good Form", "Chun-Li" and "Barbie Dreams" featuring Ariana Grande. She later released one compilation, "Queen Radio: Volume 1", which landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 last year.

The new project may also mark Nicki's first proper release under her own record label, Heavy On It. The "Super Freaky Girl" hitmaker announced her own record label earlier this year on her "Queen Radio" show by declaring, "I have a record label now... When I get behind an artist, y'all know how I do s**t for people that's not even signed to me. Imagine what I'ma do for the ones that's signed."
