Bebe sustained the eye injury while performing onstage for her "Best F'n Night of My Life Tour" in New York City on Sunday, June 18. A video uploaded on Twitter by one of the concertgoers showed a phone thrown from the audience hitting the "Meant to Be" hitmaker in the face.

"Absolutely great show ruined by a fan throwing their phone at @BebeRexha hopefully she is ok after that," so read the caption of the clip. The video, meanwhile, further showed Bebe falling to her knees while holding her face. It did not take long for her to be escorted backstage.

In the wake of the incident, Bebe reportedly got three stitches to mend her injury. "Bebe Rexha's mother reveals that she had to get three stitches after someone in the audience threw a phone at her head during her concert," PopBase shared in a tweet. According to ABC7NY, the concertgoer who threw the phone, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested for assault.

Bebe even gave fans a closer look at her injured eye. On Monday, she let out a series of photos, one of which showed white bandages that covered up a number of stitches slightly under her left brow.

Bebe managed to keep a positive attitude though. She posed with a smile and gave a thumb up for the camera in the snap. Another photo she posted, however, displayed a red cut below her left brow as well as her swollen and purple eyelid. Still, in the caption of the post, she insisted, "Im good."
