The former 'Lip Sync Battle' host claps back at a social media critic who suggested that she had overfilled her face which resulted 'in a puffy and bloated effect.'

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen has placed the blame for her "new face" on weight gain. Upon learning that she has been on the receiving end of "mean" criticism about her appearance, the former "Lip Sync Battle" host did not hold back in responding to the unsolicited remarks.

On Thursday, June 15, the 37-year-old posted on her Instagram Story a screenshot of a post about her "new face." Over the snap, she noted, "No mean intentions? But saying this could be your face if you do it wrong?" She bluntly spoke, "You're a piece of s**t." On the reason why her face might look different, she argued, "I gained weight."

The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model was responding to the critique thrown by plastic surgeon and influencer Kay Durairaj. In the now-deleted video post on Instagram, Kay wrote, "This post is not out of mean intentions. It is merely here to discuss overfill and its possible consequences."

"!! Chrissy Teigen's 'New Face' Look !! Look at how your face could become if you're doing it wrong! There's too much reliance on hyaluronic gel fillers, and not enough focus on building foundations, skin structure, and support," the influencer further added. "This can result in a puffy and bloated effect."

Many Instagram users seemed to agree with Kay's argument about Chrissy's face. Her post received over three thousands of likes, and more than two thousands of users shared her post.

Chrissy herself has been open about undertaking beauty procedures. Back in August 2020, she revealed to have gotten boob job. "Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old. It was more for a swimsuit thing," she told Glamour UK at that time.

On the reason why she decided to go under the knife, the wife of John Legend stated, "I thought, if I'm going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed."

Chrissy additionally shared, "Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer. I had a quarter teardrop cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift."

"I think you're supposed to replace [implants] every ten years," she continued. "But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, 'This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.' "
