AceShowbiz - Ireland Baldwin has officially become a first-time mother. Having welcomed her first child with boyfriend RAC, the model took to social media to offer the first glimpse of their newborn daughter.
On Thursday, May 18, the 27-year-old shared on Instagram a photo of her cradling her new bundle of joy as she cuddled up with her beau in the hospital bed. In the caption, the new mom simply wrote, "holland."
The post has since been met with excitement. Among those who commented on the snap was Meghan Trainor, who gushed, "OMG YAYYYYYY CONGRATSSSSS MAMA." Fellow new mom Rummer Willis raved, "Omg omg hi sweet girl, we can't wait to squeeze you."
Ireland confirmed her pregnancy on December 31, 2022. Earlier this year, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger revealed that she gave her baby a geographical location name like her own, which also came from her adoration for "Two and a Half Men" actress, Holland Taylor.
"We're naming her Holland. I'm Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent. And then I love the actress Holland Taylor," she said. "I've always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we're going with Holland."
When speaking to "Girlboss Radio" podcast, Ireland added, "What I'm most excited about [motherhood] is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn't have." She further elaborated, "What's kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm. It's cool that I get to unconditionally love this person and do my best to make her as equipped for this world and bada** as possible."
