Todd Fisher calls it 'heartbreaking' and 'distressing' that he is excluded from the guest list of the upcoming event to posthumously honor the late 'Star Wars' actress, blaming his family for the snub.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Fisher's brother won't be part of an important event celebrating her career and he is not happy about it. Todd Fisher fumed at not being invited to his sister's upcoming Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
The "Star Wars" star will be posthumously honored with her own star at the ceremony, which is set to take place on Thursday, May 4, which fans of the sci-fi film franchise also celebrate as "Star Wars Day".
When the son of late singer Eddie Fisher and late actress Debbie Reynolds found out that he didn't make the guest list cut, he had his team reached out to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Walk of Fame plagues, but he was told that the guest list was controlled by Disney.
Disney later told him that the final say came down to Carrie's family. He was told they had filled the 30 seats they were given and was asked to not add anymore stress to his niece Billie Lourd over his snub.
"It's heartbreaking and shocking to me that I was intentionally omitted from attending this important legacy event for my sister, Carrie," Todd tells TMZ. He points out that he went with the "When Harry Met Sally..." star to their mother's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony back in the day and claims he's worked tirelessly to honor and preserve the family's Hollywood legacy.
"As the only brother of the Carrie Fisher, being omitted from this special day is truly hurtful," Todd divulges. He admits, "Frankly, it's a distressing situation and I don't deserve to be put in this position."
Todd further claims that he's the one who was campaigning for Carrie to get a star on the Walk of Fame. He calls the situation "extremely hurtful and distressing as I was always a big part of everything my sister and mother did historically over their lifetimes."
