Photographer Djamilla Rosa Cochran accuses the Harlem native of profiting off of the photo that she took of him, which showed the emcee wearing a pink fur coat and talking on a pink flip phone.

AceShowbiz - Cam'ron has found himself entangled in legal trouble. The "Hey Ma" rapper is being sued by a photographer for using a picture of himself on Dipset merchandise.
Filing the suit was Djamilla Rosa Cochran. In the docs, Djamilla accused the Harlem native of profiting off of the photo that she took of him, which showed the emcee wearing a pink fur coat and talking on a pink flip phone.
The said photo was taken during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in February 2002. According to the complaint Cam'ron was not authorized to use the photo of himself, but he used it on Dipset merchandise like shower curtains, pillows, swimsuits and socks.
Aside from Cam'ron, Djamilla named Dipset Couture LLC as the defendant. Claiming that she owns the copyright, the plaintiff seeks damages, as well as any of the profit from merchandise sales.
"Defendant Dipset Couture LLC, without permission or authorization from Plaintiff, actively copied and displayed the Photograph on the Website as part of various product listings ('Merchandise Listings') and engaged in this misconduct knowingly and in violation of the United States copyright laws," so read the lawsuit.
"Getty Images notified defendants of their infringing activities by mail and email on multiple occasions," it added. "Despite those notifications, defendants continued to sell merchandise and continued to display the photograph on website and accounts."
That aside, Cam'ron recently came under fire for his apparent homophobic comment on Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors. He dissed the two actors by sharing two pictures of them posing close to each other.
In one of the snaps, Jonathan hugged Michael from behind, while another image has the two hunks lean their heads against each other. In the caption, Cam'ron suggested that he was put off from watching the boxing drama because of the show of bromance between the two actors. "The reason I didn't go see creed," so he wrote.
The diss backfired though. One user commented, "Coming from the N***a that popularized men wearing pink fur? A little hypocritical don't you think?" Another argued, "It's giving Camron walked so they could run... check ya homophobia that s**t ain't cute."
