AceShowbiz - Dave Grohl's generous act has melted fans' hearts. The Foo Fighters frontman has earned praise from many Internet users after he helped a homeless shelter cook for 450 people.

Making use of Instagram, CFO of Hope the Mission Rowan Vansleve shared a compilation video of Dave cooking in the kitchen. In the caption, Rowan wrote, "And in the middle of our 350 mile run to end homelessness, we got the coolest video ever from Dave Grohl, of the Foo Fighters."

"Not only did I wish us luck, but he cooked for hundreds of people who live in our shelters in the middle of one of the worst storms," he added. "Nothing but love and respect for Dave."

The post has since been flooded with complimentary comments from fans. One in particular wrote, "344 of why Dave Grohl is an amazing human being." Another gushed, "Nicest guy in rock and roll and just an all around treasure. The world is a better and much cooler place because of David Eric Grohl."

According to TMZ, Dave spent 16 hours in the kitchen, 14 to cook and 2 to let the meat rest. He reportedly whipped up ribs, pork butt, brisket, cabbage, coleslaw and beans. It was unveiled that he "handled all expenses himself and got some sleep here and there in the parking lot while the meat was getting smoked."
