AceShowbiz - Raven-Symone has come under fire after a video she made mocking Amber Heard resurfaced online. The clip was actually filmed in April 2021, but it has recently gone viral again as fans are taking issues with Raven's comments on Amber.
In the video originally posted on TikTok, Raven made fun of Amber over her legal drama with Johnny Depp, before the widely-publicized trial in mid-2022. The "That's So Raven" alum and her wife Miranda Maday were charging their Tesla when they realized that they parked next to Amber.
Filming the video inside their car, the couple thought of ways to get Amber's attention while mocking reports of her abusive relationship with Johnny. "Cut my finger off and see if she's claim it," she said, referring to Johnny's accusation that the "Aquaman" star severed his finger by hurling a bottle of vodka at him.
Raven also noted that Amber appeared to be in distress, gasping, "Oh my god she's crying!" Miranda chimed in by joking that she's "probably on the phone with her lawyer." Raven also mocked Amber's then-girlfriend Bianca Butti, saying, "There's Amber and her lesbian lover... oh my god. She looks like Johnny Depp!"
After initially attempting not to be seen by Amber, Raven then decided to run out and take a picture with the "Magic Mike XXL" actress. After returning to their car, Miranda revealed that Amber got locked out of her car.
"She gets out of the car, takes a picture with Raven and closes her door," Miranda said, as Raven held back her laughter. "As soon as Raven walks away, she goes back to her car and her car is locked, with her phone inside, her purse inside, the snacks that she was nibbling on, and her jacket."
"I watched this woman try to keep it cool and just try and act like she meant to get out of her car and close the door, turn around and then she's just like there, locked out of her car," Miranda continued. Raven then quipped, "Can't go anywhere! I was like, 'Babes, unplug the car, we gotta go!' [Amber] doesn't know who I am, so everything's good."
"But Amber, I'm so sorry you got locked out of your car, but my picture's amazing. Thanks, Amber!" she added, as her picture with Amber also appeared in the video.
After the video is making new rounds online, people called out Raven for her actions and remarks. "something very psychologically wrong with this. sinister vibes," one Twitter user said of the 37-year-old actress.
Another weighed in, "Imagine taking your day off to give a has-been actress a selfie and then she goes on to drag you like this - for having a bad day - on social media to boost herself. This behavior by Raven Symone will never not be vile and disturbing. #IstandWithAmberHeard."
A third called it "awful," while a fourth critic said, "completely dehumanising and morally tone-deaf." Another person labeled Raven's behavior "cruel and disgusting."
