The Canadian rapper is spotted looking calm when exiting the courtroom with his son in his arms after the fifth day of trial over shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.

AceShowbiz - Tory Lanez could breathe a sigh of relief for a while. The "Say It" rapper, whose real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, was caught saying that he feels "good" after firearms experts testified that his DNA was "not found" on gun magazine during the ongoing trial over July 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.

After the fifth day of the trial in Los Angeles on Friday, December 16 was concluded, Tory was seen exiting the courtroom with his son in his arms. In footage surfacing on social media, the 30-year-old rapper was seen saying, "I feel good."

His sighting came after prosecutors called Randy Zepeda, a criminalist for the Los Angeles Police Department. During his testimony, Randy stated that DNA is not always left behind or found on objects. His testimony corroborated the LAPD's findings in the investigation that Tory's DNA was not found on the magazine of the gun but the DNA results were inconclusive on the handgun.

The defense's first witness, Marc Scott Taylor, a forensic scientist, agreed with the findings that Tory's DNA was not found on the magazine of the gun, and that results were inconclusive on the handgun.

The prosecutors also brought in another expert on firearms, who discussed his findings after investigating the gun police believe was used to shoot Megan after a party at Kylie Jenner's house in 2020. Firearms examiner Srinivasan Rathinam, with the LAPD, said that 8.5 pounds are needed to shoot the semi-automatic 9mm luger caliber firearm that police found on the floorboard of the black SUV the group was riding in the night of the incident.

"If you just tap the trigger, it won't fire," Srinivasan said, adding that "you need to pull the trigger all the way down." He also confirmed that the cartridge casings found at the scene of the shooting, four were found by police right after the incident, and one was found by a neighbor the following day, matched the gun found in the vehicle. He then concluded, "I'm not sure whether I can call this an accident."

Multiple journalists reported that experts said Tory's DNA wasn't on the magazine. "It can't be concluded that his DNA wasn't on the gun, but it can't be said that it was either," Meghann Cuniff reported. A source that was inside the courtroom also confirmed that four other people's DNA was found on the gun, including two women and two men, per The Shade Room.

The trial over the shooting incident began on Monday, December 12. On the first day of the trial, it's unveiled that test results show that both Tory, who is facing three felony counts and could face up to 23 years in prison if convicted, and Megan's ex-BFF Kelsey Nicole Harris tested positive for gun residue.

Interestingly, Kelse was recently caught changing her story while giving her testimony in court. On Friday, prosecutors played audio of the entire interview Kelsey did with cops earlier this year, when she spilled every detail from that July 2020 night as she has been hesitant to provide details while testifying earlier this week.

Many have since thought that Kelsey took the hush money Tory allegedly offered her as she backtracked on her previous claim during her Wednesday testimony, including Keri Hilson. "It's giving she took the money Tory allegedly offered Megan to keep quiet [shh emoji]," the singer wrote via Instagram.

However, on Thursday, Kelsey insisted that Tory didn't pay her off. During cross-examination, Tory's attorney asked Kelsey if Tory paid her anything and she said, "No. I want to make it very clear ... Tory didn't pay me anything."
