AceShowbiz - Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid are going to welcome a new addition to their family. The Olympic gold medalist swimmer and his wife announced on Friday, December 9 that they are currently expecting their third child together.
Making use of their respective Instagram accounts, the couple unleashed a sweet video of the two having a fun time at the beach with their daughter Liv Rae (3) and son Caiden Zane (4). The clip shows the kids running along in the sand. At another point, the expectant parents are seen sharing a kiss while the model cradled her baby bump.
As the foursome gathers around together, the words "Lochte baby #3 Coming June 2023" pop up on the screen. In the caption, the pair wrote, "Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course!"
Kayla also shared the pregnancy news when speaking to "Good Morning America" on Friday. During the interview, she also gushed over her amazing husband as saying, "Ryan is such an amazing, hands-on dad but you can't be as hands-on as you'd like [when] you're training so hard and it's such a demanding schedule that you physically cannot do both."
"This go-round, it's been really nice to just be able to have him be present," the 31-year-old realtor further raved. "It's been this kind of wave of relaxing -- 'oh my gosh, we can actually enjoy this pregnancy together, we can actually enjoy this newborn phase together.' "
Kayla and Ryan first met in 2016 after she slid into his Instagram DMs. The twosome tied the knot in Palm Springs in 2018, about a year after they welcomed their first child Caiden.
