To celebrate the major step in recovering from a rare type of blood cancer called waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, the country music star shares a touching video on her social media page.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Monroe has celebrated a major step in recovering from a rare type of blood cancer. Taking to her social media page, the Pistol Annies star said that she's "never been more thankful" after finishing the last chemotherapy treatment.

Making use of her Instagram account on Wednesday, December 15, the 35-year-old country music star shared a touching moment when she celebrated the end of her chemo. In the clip, she could be seen ringing a bell in the hospital hallway.

"Ring a ling a ling a ding dong ding…My last chemo is done!" Ashley captioned her post. The "Hands On You" singer added, "Merry Christmas everyone," before thanking her fans and followers for their outpouring support, "Thank you for praying for me. I felt them more than you know. I've never been more thankful. Ready to Come back like never before in 2022!"

Her post was quickly flooded with positive messages from her friends and followers. "I love you my beautiful, strong, sweet friend," wrote fellow country music star Gwen Sebastian. Meghan Linsey, the season 8 runner-up of "The Voice", added, "Yasss! Love you [love emojis]."

Karen Fairchild also congratulated Ashley as saying, "This makes me SO happy!!!!" In the meantime, one fan praised Ashley, "Tears of JOY! love you… so strong." A second fan chimed in, "Wooooo yes!!! Happy day!" while a third commented, "Yayayaayayay!!! praise God."

Ashley unveiled that she's battling a rare form of blood cancer in July. "A few months ago my dr. was doing some routine lab work and found that I was anemic," she wrote alongside photos featuring her husband, John Danks, their son Dalton and her bandmates, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley. "I was like, FINE, I'll just double up on cheeseburger patties, take some extra vitamins and call it a day."

"Short story long, they did a bone marrow biopsy, (ouch), and VOILA... a rare kind of blood c word called 'waldenstrom macroglobulinemia'," Ashley continued explaining. "It's causing my body to be pretty severely anemic, and I feel it."
