AceShowbiz - Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil has insisted he's the "victim" of the fire that tore through his seventh floor flat in Leeds, England.
Neighbours called emergency services after seeing smoke emerge from the building, and Blake was arrested on Monday, November 25, on suspicion of arson.
They reported after banging on doors to alert others, the 37-year-old walked out and laughed, "I've set fire to my curtains," before wandering off back into his apartment.
However, speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Blake insisted: "I didn't start the fire. I'm the victim."
At the time of the incident, he apparently told residents, "It's only a bit of smoke," before Blake, who has struggled with drug addiction in the past, then offered his neighbours a smoke of his "crack pipe".
After first responders arrived at the scene, Blake was taken to hospital as a precaution. He was later taken into custody.
Blake and Amy were married for two years before they got divorced in 2009. The "Back to Black" singer died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011, aged 27.
