Carey Hart posts a picture of masked gunmen warning 'looters will be shot on site' and urging victims of the Woolsey fire to defend their properties.

AceShowbiz - Pink's husband Carey Hart has warned looters at the evacuation zones of California wildfires that they will be shot if they get caught ransacking homes left vacant amid the raging fire. The former professional freestyle motocross competitor seemingly urges victims of the Woolsey fire to defend their properties by using their Second Amendment right to bear arms.

On Tuesday, November 13, Carey posted on Instagram a picture of a group of men wearing masks and holding firearms with a sign that reads, "Looters will be shot on site! P.D.C Posse." It's unclear if Carey is in the photo, but he added a warning to looter along with the photo.

"It's unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis," he wrote in the caption. "While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu. #DefendYourLand #2ndamendment."

While some of his followers support Carey's post, not a few have called him out for threatening to use violence to defend material things. "It's just stuff. It's replaceable at the end of the day. Not condoning stealing. But two wrongs don't make a right. And shooting someone dead is the lowest of lows," one wrote.

Another similarly commented on Carey's post, "I think the thing I struggle with the most is that 'used properly' by definition here means used to shoot and kill someone. And I suppose that in my heart of hearts, I can't believe that anything, especially not the (potential) loss of material possessions, could be worth actually killing someone for."

"This is not the moral message to be sending (and we aren't in Florida)," another added. "Material items are not more important than human life. The right to defend is when your life or your family's is threatened. Not murdering someone over stealing a tv or art. The world needs love and logic. Mother Nature needs love and logic. PS: rifle gunfire can start wildfires."

Pink and Carey have been forced to evacuate their beachside property in Malibu as the raging fire has spread to nearly 100,000 acres in Southern California. Miley Cyrus, Gerard Butler, Robin Thicke, Caitlyn Jenner, Neil Young and Camille Grammer are among celebrities who have lost their homes in the disaster.

Meanwhile, Ireland Baldwin recently vented her frustration after a policeman accused her of looting from her own home in Malibu. "An officer at a back way entrance to one of the main canyons that take you over to Malibu stopped us and refused to let us in because I don't have my Malibu address on my ID," she wrote on Twitter. "Not only was he a d**k, but he had 0 compassion and he literally accused us of being looters and threatened us that we were going to be arrested if we kept giving him trouble."
