The Canadian singer sits in the audience to watch his model girlfriend strut her stuff, two years after their awkward reunion on the runway.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd is surely one supportive boyfriend. Even though the Canadian singer is not tapped as the performer at the 2018 Victoria's Secret fashion show, he still came to the taping of the event on Thursday, November 8 to cheer on Bella Hadid.

He was joined by Yolanda Hadid at the event and was seen mingling with the crowd before watching his model girlfriend take the stage. For her third time walking down the runway at the annual show, Bella rocked a sheer black lingerie and white long gloves, completing it with a pair of blue feathered wings.

It should be noted that this isn't the first time The Weeknd has seen Bella strutting her stuff at Victoria's Secret fashion show. Two years ago, when they just broke up, the "Call Out My Name" singer took the stage at the show to perform "Starboy" while the brunette beauty walk down the runway. It was such a rather awkward encounter.

For this year's show, Bella was joined by her sister Gigi Hadid and best friend Kendall Jenner. Talking to PEOPLE backstage, she said that it was so special to have her older sister by her side. "It is just insane. Even part of the show we're standing close to each other for the finale and it is just exciting to be able to hold her hand," she recalled. "If I feel anything I can just look at her and we can make a joke and laugh. That is just what I am most excited about."

Aside from Bella, Gigi and Kendall, other models who strutted their lingeries on the catwalk included Barbara Palvin, Winnie Harlow and Candice Swanepoel. This year's event also marked the last show for Adriana Lima, who announced that she would be retiring her Angel wings. Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes, Halsey, Rita Ora and The Chainsmokers were tapped to perform.

The 2018 Victoria's Secret fashion show will be broadcast on December 2 on ABC.
