AceShowbiz - Jungkook of BTS (Bangtan Boys) just got his dream come true when his group took the stage at the 2018 MBC Plus x Genie Music Awards on Tuesday, November 6. The South Korean group joined forces with Charlie Puth for a stripped-down rendition of their hit "Fake Love".

The youngest member of the group opened their performance by having a short conversation with the 26-year-old singer, talking about their favorite songs of each other. Other members of the group only appeared after Jungkook started singing the song, with Puth playing the musical keyboard. The latter didn't get the chance to sing in Korean as he only belted out the English part of the song.

Before performing with the whole group, Jungkook and Puth teamed up for a rendition of his Selena Gomez-assisted song "We Don't Talk Anymore". The 21-year-old singer took the lead during the set, with the "How Long" singer singing in falsetto. "We don't talk anymore/ Like we used to do," they harmonize. "We don't laugh anymore/ What was all of it for?/ Oh, we don't talk anymore."

After the set, Puth took to his Twitter account to say, "This was fun. Thank you." BTS also shared on the micro-blogging site an image of them posing with the "Attention" hitmaker.

BTS sure had a good night during the award-giving show. In addition to having the honor to perform with Puth, they came out as the biggest winner. The seven-piece group won seven awards, including the biggest honors best artist of the year and best digital album of the year for "Love Yourself: Answer". They also won best male dance performance for "IDOL", genie music popularity and best male group.

Puth didn't come home empty handed either. He was honored with the best international artist trophy. Other winners at the event included Twice and Wanna One.
