AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is back with a new self and probably a new man after leaving rehab. The 26-year-old singer and actress sparked dating rumors with designer Henry Levy after showing romantic display during sushi dinner post-rehab.
The "Sober" songstress and her alleged new boyfriend were spotted hitting up Matsuhisa restaurant in Bev Hills on Saturday night, November 3. Sitting across to each other, they looked happy, laughing and holding hands while staring lovingly at each other.
In pictures obtained by TMZ, the two were also seen leaving the restaurant in a car together with Demi sitting on the passenger's seat. Henry took the wheel and was pictured smoking a cigarette.
The outing comes after Demi reportedly completed her 90-day rehab stint. She was also spotted having a spa trip over the weekend.
The former Disney darling was hospitalized for 10 days after her alleged drug overdose on July 24. She then checked into a facility on America's East Coast before transferring to another top rehabilitation center over the summer.
Her mother Dianna De La Garza recently spoke about her daughter's road to sobriety. "She has (been sober for) 90 days and I couldn't be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it's work," Dianna said during an interview on Maria Menounos' Sirius XM show. "It's very hard, it's not easy and there are no shortcuts."
Demi herself has not said anything after leaving rehab, but released a statement on Instagram back in August after her health scare. "I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time," she wrote in the post. "It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet."
Thanking her family, friends, fans and medical staff for their support during the tough time, she said, "The love you have all shown me will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side." She additionally promised, "I will keep fighting."
