It is still unclear on how many episode the 'Manchester by the Sea' actor will be featured on the 'Roseanne' spin-off since he has landed a part on Netflix's 'Daybreak'.

AceShowbiz - Matthew Broderick has landed a part in "The Conners".
The 56-year-old star is joining the ABC sitcom in the role of Peter, a love interest for Jackie, played by Laurie Metcalf, according to reporters at Entertainment Weekly.
It's unclear how many episodes Broderick will appear in on the show, as it was recently announced that he is joining the Netflix programme "Daybreak", based on the graphic novel by Brian Ralph.
"The Conners" premiered in the U.S. on Tuesday, October 16, with audiences finally learning how Roseanne Barr's character was written off following the controversial actress' firing from the "Roseanne" reboot in May.
During the premiere episode, the Conner family addressed the matriarch's absence in the opening scene. As the family gathered in the kitchen mourning the loss of Roseanne, her husband Dan, played by John Goodman, and sister Jackie, find out she died of an opiate overdose.
Throughout the episode, the Conner family discovered a mixture of pills hidden in different places around the house, including the closet and their freezer.
Although Barr said she wouldn't be tuning in to watch the "Roseanne" spin-off, she took to social media to share her opinion on how they killed off her character.
"I AIN'T DEAD, B**CHES!!!!" she posted on Twitter.
Barr, 65, later released a joint statement with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach regarding the decision by show bosses to kill off Roseanne.
"While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of 'The Conners', all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne's cherished colleagues, we regret that ABC chose to cancel Roseanne by killing off the Roseanne Conner character," they wrote.
