AceShowbiz - A new set photo from the forthcoming Arrowverse TV crossover is coming. This time, coming from "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist's Instagram account, the photo offers fans a look at Superrfamily reunion.

Melissa was seen posing with Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman depicter Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, who has been tapped to play Lois Lane in the annual TV event. The photo weas taken in what seemed like a field with Melissa writing in the caption, "two kryptonians and a journalist walk into a crossover."

As of now, the plot of "Elseworlds" is kept tightly under the wraps. One thing that certain is the TV event will bring Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash together. Also joining them in the 3-night crossover are Ruby Rose as Batwoman, Jeremy Davie as a doctor at Arkham Asylum named Dr. John Deegan, Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries and LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor.

Although fans currently know nothing about what to expect from "Elseworlds", Stephen Amell promised that "the crossover is f***ing bananas." He continued saying during a recent Facebook Live, "It's crazy... I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. And not just the best but the best by a really, really wide margin. And I think that last year was fantastic."

" 'Crisis on Earth X', I think that's what it was called, that was pretty crazy and getting to play doppelgängers was pretty crazy," Amell added. "When Greg Berlanti first talked to me about why he wanted to do crossovers, it was because it's for the fans. It's so people can watch characters and scenarios that combine their favorite things on TV or introduce them to new things on TV. But you also get this license to do things that we could never do in the vacuum -- especially on 'Arrow' -- that we can never do in the vacuum of just our show."

This year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
